Pulling in both directions
Letting go of truth
We're giving up
All alone in the basement
Biggest name in a crowded room
Logging off, logging on to the faceless
Bring hell with the click of a button
No longer recognize the place that is in front of me
Have we crumbled from the weight that is our doubt?
Like the weather it's a wealth of inconsistency
But we don't blink
We swallow it down again
Take a moment to check your facts
Cause once you break the dam it's hard to build it back
To build it back
No longer recognize the place that is in front of me
Have we crumbled from the weight that is our doubt?
Like the weather it's a wealth of inconsistency
But we don't blink
We swallow it down
We fill our cup but it's polluted at the source
Forget the truth
What we want is something more
In this dirt all we're gonna grow are thorns
It's time to take back our reality
Is it ever enough
No longer recognize the place that is in front of me
Have we crumbled from the weight that is our doubt?
Like the weather it's a wealth of inconsistency
But we don't blink
We swallow it down
We fill our cup but it's polluted at the source
Forget the truth
What we want is something more
In this dirt all we're gonna grow are thorns
It's time to take back our reality
I love it. Have to agree with still bummed: this packs an emotional punch but rocks hard. I've played this whole album repeatedly over the last week which is unusual for me. Exhilarating, poignant, intelligent, melodic. Robin Ward
This album is AZip's best since Andiamo, maybe even A Passage In Time. And that's a high bar for a band that couldn't put out a bad studio album if they tried. There's hints of every previous album. Even fans who think the band went downhill after Passage should like this one. Mark Hammond
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
Go the Goldy crew. These lads do it up. Their first one EWWWWW was a ball tearer. This one's a bit more polished. Pretty much in the So Cal punk style, with flourishes of metal manifesting at opportune moments. Fast moving wall of sound. Approve 👍 Trevor Ramsay
